Finding the Perfect Beaufort Newborn Photographer: Get The Right Questions to Ask

Are you considering newborn photography but have some questions?

Don’t worry, I’m here to help!

As a studio newborn photographer, I understand the value and importance of capturing these early moments of your baby’s life!

Let me guide you through the process and provide you with all the information you need to capture the early moments of your baby’s life.

Let’s dive into some of the most common questions about newborn photography.

“What should I look for when hiring a newborn photographer?”

It’s important to choose a photographer who specializes in newborn photography and has experience working with infants. At my studio, I have 10 years of experience working with newborns and their families. I’m dedicated to providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for you and your baby. I understand the importance of capturing these early moments, and I take pride in creating beautiful, timeless memories that you’ll cherish for years to come.

You should always make sure that the photographer you choose has proper training in posing & wrapping newborn babies, especially for posed studio portraits. Many parents do not realize that this can be dangerous for their little ones if someone isn’t trained in newborn portraiture.

“What can I expect during a newborn photography session?”

During a newborn photography session, I’ll work to create a memorable and safe environment for your baby as I work through the posing process. You can include your family members in the photos, and I encourage parents and siblings to participate in this special moment. If you have any personal items such as a baby blanket or family heirloom you’d like to incorporate into the images, I am always happy to do so.

To capture the best moments, it’s important to schedule your newborn photography session as early as possible, ideally within the first three weeks of your baby’s life.

For this reason, I recommend booking your session as soon as possible during your pregnancy to ensure availability – your final session date will not be assigned until baby is born and home from the hospital.

Our studio provides all the props & accessories needed for your little ones session so no need to worry about buying any of those items. I will provide you with an in-depth questionnaire prior to be able to design sets that align perfectly with your vision and esthetic.

“Do I need to bring anything?”

You don’t need to bring much to the session as most of the items your baby will need will be provided by the studio, including props, backdrops, and blankets. However, I encourage you to bring a few personal items that you would like to incorporate into the photos, like a special blanket or toy (this is optional)!

“When will I get my photos?”

After the session, you can expect to receive the final edited photos within 2-3 weeks. I offer a range of options with both digital files and printed products. I’m happy to work with you to create a customized package that meets your specific needs.

“How much does newborn photography cost?”

Newborn photography sessions will range from $600 to $4000, depending on what you select. I know this might seem like a significant investment, but keep in mind that newborn photography is a specialized service that requires a lot of time, effort, and equipment. I’m dedicated to providing high-quality images & products that you’ll cherish for a lifetime!

So, there you have it! Newborn photography is a wonderful way to capture the early moments of your baby’s life and I do my best to take care of all the details, so all you have to do is show up!
