“Having a birth photographer was one of the top things on my list that I knew I HAD to have.

It was my second baby but first time I would be having a vaginal birth and all of our family was across the country so we wouldn’t have them there to experience it with us.

I had first contacted Nadia when I was still living in California. She was so amazing about working with us and still fitting us in even though we wouldn’t be moving to South Carolina until I was about 37 weeks pregnant.

Once we got moved and settled, I went into labor in the middle of night and I remember being so worried she was going to miss it. But low and behold at 2:30 AM, not even 15 minutes after my husband called her, she came walking into my hospital room ready to go. She made me feel so comfortable and was encouraging and supportive the entire time.

Nadia captured every moment from before I was pushing, during, and after. There’s so many things that become such a blur during labor and I get to remember the small details that you sometimes forget. The love from my husband, the encouragement from my nurses, our first born getting to meet her baby sister. Plus, I love that I get to look back and see the exact moment our sweet Sawyer was born.

And all over our family got to experience that exact moment too through Nadia’s work. It’s all such an emotional and overwhelming moment of love, joy, and excitement that you never want to forget and Nadia made sure to never let that happen for our family!”
